Along with the news of the approval of the Northport waterfront grant comes the disappointing announcement that the Dam Beach grant was turned down. Friends of the Dam Beach member Greg Reisig commented that the “Friends group will focus only on conservation in 2011. We will be pushing the village and county to move forward with a conservation easement or deed restrictions.”
