ISLAND’s workshops teach folks to do for themselves. These workshops build self-sufficiency and community self-reliance. They include topic areas like canning, root storage, food preservation, home mushroom production, basic building skills, seed starting, beekeeping basics, cheese making, and chainsaw safety. We will host over 75 workshops in 2012.
