EPA is soliciting applications for grants and cooperative agreements to be awarded as part of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI).

EPA will award approximately $20 million under this Request for Applications for about 100 projects, contingent on the availability of appropriations, the quality of applications received and other applicable considerations.

Funding under the 2012 RFA will support work under four of the five Focus Areas of the GLRI Action Plan (PDF) (41pp, 1.3MB About PDF) February 2010.

This RFA is EPA’s major competitive grant funding opportunity under the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative for FY2012. It is one of several funding opportunities available through federal agencies under GLRI.
